• To increase security, we make various changes to the default configuration. Here you can find out how to log in to your newly installed system.

    1 Information

Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive. If you try to login to your CVS after a new installation, restart your CVS and wait a few minutes.

    2 Unix/Linux

Unix- or BSD-based systems are always configured with the standard user root or cloud and the password shown in the client area.

If SSH-Key-based authentication is selected the root account is disabled and it's only possible to login with the cloud user instead with a valid SSH key.

    3 BSD

BSD-based systems are always configured with the standard user "freebsd" and the password shown in the client area.

    4 Windows

Windows-based systems are configured with the user name Admin or Administrator (Server Version) and the password shown in the client area.

The IPv4 address is set automatically during installation. Access via Microsoft® Remote Desktop is also activated.
